The Claypit is situated on the Sweeney Estate which is exactly one mile from Weston Venue. It had a complete Revamp 2017 with 36 pegs. Also new for 2019 will be our small horsehoe shaped pool watch this space for more details on the pegs and stock.

The Clay Pit has been a real success story for Weston with lots of work and water management it is now arguably one of the best shallow fishing waters in the country – it doesn’t stop there though, any method you want to fish will work well at “The Pit” – one other thing that has become evident is the fantastic Roach fishing on offer with specimen silvers being taken at over 2Lb – don’t fear the deep water – local advise from the fishery staff is available come along and give it a go!
